Das CEV-Champions League Turnier Volley in Innsbruck bot heute ein weiteres spannendes Spiel zwischen dem SC „Prometry“ Dnipro aus der Ukraine und Ford Levoranta Sastamala aus Finnland. Gestern hatten die Ukrainer knapp mit 3:1 gegen das HYPO TIROL Volleyballteam gewonnen, aber heute schien ihre Leistung nicht mehr so stabil zu sein. Dennoch überzeugten sie in den ersten beiden Sätzen mit einer konstanten Teamleistung und sicherten sich den ersten Satz mit 25:19 und den zweiten Satz mit 25:21.
Im dritten Satz stabilisierten sich die Ukrainer, gingen mit 16:14 in Führung, und der russische Coach nahm eine Auszeit. Die Finnen zeigten jedoch eine starke Blockleistung und konnten ausgleichen, um das Spiel auf 20:20 zu bringen. SC „Prometry“ Dnipro hatte mehrere Matchbälle, aber sie wurden vergeben, bis sie schließlich den vierten Satzball nutzen konnten, um den dritten Satz zu gewinnen.
Im vierten Satz konnten sich die Ukrainer besser fangen und führten mit 22:17. Diesen Vorsprung gaben sie nicht mehr her und sicherten sich den vierten Satz mit 25:20. Im Entscheidungssatz konnte sich die Ukraine mit 15:13 durchsetzen und das Spiel für sich entscheiden. Ein aufregendes Match zwischen beiden Teams!

The CEV Champions League Volley tournament in Innsbruck offered another exciting game today between SC „Prometry“ Dnipro from Ukraine and Ford Levoranta Sastamala from Finland. Yesterday the Ukrainians narrowly won 3-1 against the HYPO TIROL volleyball team, but today their performance no longer seemed so stable. Nevertheless, they impressed with a consistent team performance in the first two sets and secured the first set with 25:19 and the second set with 25:21.
In the third set, the Ukrainians stabilized, took the lead 16:14, and the Russian coach called a timeout. However, the Finns showed a strong blocking performance and were able to equalize to bring the game to 20:20. SC „Prometry“ Dnipro had several match points, but they were missed until they were finally able to use the fourth set point to win the third set.
In the fourth set, the Ukrainians were able to hold on better and led 22:17. They never gave up this lead and secured the fourth set 25:20. In the deciding set, Ukraine prevailed 15:13 and won the game. An exciting match between both teams!

In der zweiten Begegnung am Samstag in der CEV Champions League in Innsbruck trat das HYPO TIROL Volleyballteam gegen Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn an. Mit 1000 Zuschauern in der Halle begann das Spiel. Im zweiten Satz ging HYPO mit 5:0 in Führung, verlor jedoch aufgrund zu vieler Eigenfehler diese Führung, und die Holländer konnten auf 20:19 aufholen. Doch HYPO konnte wieder ausgleichen, diesmal auf 20:20, und Apeldoorn nahm eine Auszeit. Apeldoorn ging mit 22:20 in Führung, und trotz einiger abgewehrter Matchbälle von HYPO, besiegelte eine Netzangabe den Satzverlust mit 25:23.
Im zweiten Satz führte Apeldoorn erneut mit 5:0, aber HYPO kämpfte sich zurück und glich auf 9:9 aus. Es folgte ein spannendes Hin und Her mit Gleichstand bei 16:16 und wechselnder Führung. Der zweite Satz endete schließlich mit einem dramatischen 38:36-Gewinn für HYPO TIROL, wodurch sie den Ausgleich auf 1:1 in Sätzen schafften.
Im dritten Satz konnte HYPO mit 11:8 in Führung gehen, und diese Führung hielt bis zum Gleichstand bei 16:16. HYPO ging erneut mit 18:16 in Führung und sicherte sich den Satzball bei 24:21. Nach einem spannenden Ende des dritten Satzes gewann HYPO TIROL schließlich mit einem „Schupfer“ von Luan Weber, der einmal mehr Mann des Spiels war den Satz.
Im vierten Satz führte HYPO mit 14:11 und baute den Vorsprung auf fünf Punkte bei 17:12 aus. Schließlich hatten sie bei 24:18 einen Matchball. Nachdem der erste Satzball abgewehrt wurde, verwertete Pedro Frances den zweiten Matchball zum 25:19 und sicherte HYPO TIROL den Sieg gegen Dynamo Apeldoorn mit 3:1. Ein weiteres aufregendes Spiel in diesem Turnier!
