Dritter und letzter Tag beim CEV-Champions League Turnier
In der Innsbrucker USI Halle erlebten die 1.100 Zuschauer am dritten Tag des CEV-Champions League Turniers zwei spannende Spiele.
Spiel 1: Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn gegen SC „PROMETEY“ Dnipro
Im ersten Spiel des Tages trafen Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn und SC „PROMETEY“ Dnipro aufeinander. Wie erwartet sicherte sich Dnipro den ersten Satz mit 25:22. Doch dann zeigte Apeldoorn großes Können und gewann den zweiten Satz deutlich mit 25:13.
Im dritten Satz setzte Apeldoorn erneut Akzente, erzielte drei Punkte in Folge und hielt bis zum Stand von 11:12 die Führung. Danach gelang es Dnipro, aufzuholen, doch einige Eigenfehler schwächten ihre Position. Beide Teams lieferten an diesem Tag eine enttäuschende Leistung, jedoch ist festzuhalten, dass sie gegen das HYPO TIROL Volleyballteam alles gaben.
Der vierte Satz gehörte wieder den Ukrainern, die mit 13:8 in Führung gingen und ihn schließlich mit 25:18 für sich entschieden. Somit stand ein Entscheidungssatz an. Dnipro gewann das Spiel mit 3:2 in Sätzen und überraschte, nachdem sie zuvor zwei Niederlagen hinnehmen mussten.
Spiel 2: HYPO TIROL Volleyballteam gegen Ford Levoranta Sastamala
Im zweiten Spiel des Tages stand für das HYPO TIROL Volleyballteam viel auf dem Spiel. Ein Sieg würde ihnen den Verbleib in der CEV-Champions League Volley sichern, andernfalls wären sie ausgeschieden.
Im ersten Satz führte HYPO mit 20:11 und gewann diesen mit 25:15. Im zweiten Satz leisteten die Finnen Widerstand und gingen zwischenzeitlich mit 11:10 in Führung. Doch HYPO konterte und sicherte sich den Satz mit 25:19.
Im dritten Satz führte HYPO TIROL mit 14:10, aber Sastamala kämpfte sich auf 14:12 heran. Doch HYPO behielt die Kontrolle, und beim Stand von 24:22 sicherten sie sich den Sieg und den Aufstieg in die zweite Runde der CEV-Champions-League Volley 2024.
Damit ist dieser spannende Tag beim CEV-Champions League Turnier zu Ende gegangen, und die Fans durften mitreißende Volleyball-Action erleben.
Third and final day at the CEV-Champions League tournament
In the Innsbruck USI Hall, the 1,100 spectators experienced two exciting games on the third day of the CEV-Champions League tournament.
Game 1: Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn vs SC „PROMETEY“ Dnipro
In the first game of the day, Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn and SC „PROMETEY“ Dnipro met. As expected, Dnipro secured the first set 25:22. But then Apeldoorn showed great skill and clearly won the second set 25:13.
In the third set, Apeldoorn set the tone again, scoring three points in a row and holding the lead until the score was 11:12. After that, Dnipro managed to catch up, but some mistakes weakened their position. Both teams delivered a disappointing performance that day, but it should be noted that they gave their all against the HYPO TIROL volleyball team.
The fourth set belonged to the Ukrainians again, who took the lead 13:8 and ultimately won it 25:18. So there was a decision to be made. Dnipro won the game 3-2 in sets, surprising after suffering two previous defeats.
Game 2: HYPO TIROL volleyball team against Ford Levoranta Sastamala
In the second game of the day there was a lot at stake for the HYPO TIROL volleyball team. A win would ensure they stay in the CEV-Champions League Volley, otherwise they would be eliminated.
In the first set, HYPO led 20:11 and won it 25:15. In the second set, the Finns resisted and took the lead 11:10. But HYPO countered and secured the set 25:19.
In the third set, HYPO TIROL led 14:10, but Sastamala fought back to 14:12. But HYPO remained in control and with the score at 24:22 they secured victory and promotion to the second round of the CEV-Champions League Volley 2024.
With that, this exciting day at the CEV-Champions League tournament came to an end and the fans were able to experience thrilling volleyball action.
